THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS

Jesus is what Christmas is all about. Jesus is God’s gift to us, and until we receive Him into our lives, we do not have real life. He gives us abundant life for the here and now, and He gives us eternal life with God. If we have Jesus, we have it all.

Without Him, we have nothing to live for now and no hope of eternal life with Him. With Jesus we have everything we need, including forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life!

MY CHRISTMAS GIFT
Jesus is my Christmas gift.
Sent from God with love.
The Creator of the universe
Came down from heaven above.
God gave His very best to me.
His Son came down to set me free.

I did not know I was a slave,
helpless, bound by sin.
But when I tried to do good works
I found only selfishness within.
Real love for others I could not show.
True joy and peace I did not know

I had no hope to be forgiven.
I was guilty, sad, and lost.
Then Jesus came to deliver me.
He came to pay the cost.
He paid the penalty for my sin.
He gave me peace and joy within.

Jesus can be your Christmas gift.
Invite Him into your heart today.
Accept His love and trust His Word.
Jesus is God’s only Way.
You can never be saved by what you do.
Let Jesus make your life all new.
